Shell Factory launches Lottery
The Shell Factory & Nature Park now has the Florida State Lottery.
The machines went yeterday, and patrons were already lining up to purchase their tickets there.
Lottery at the facility has long been requested, said representatives.
“We feel as the largest local attraction in the area a lot of residents and out-of-town people can benefit from this,” said Shell Factory Owner Tom Cronin Sr. “For the out-of-towners, they may just be getting in from the airport to visit, or don’t know local gas stations that have lottery. We’ve been getting quite a bit of requests for lottery.”
The lottery area is at the main entrance of the Shell shops at the Shell Counter. It carries all the latest scratch-off tickets as well as daily lottery number sales.
It is a cash only transaction to buy tickets there, but there are ATM machines both in the shops and in Capt’n Fishbones restaurant right across the plaza from the shops.
