Tampa Bay Buccaneer running back #28, Kregg Lumpkin, helped Sweetbay Supermarket present a $2,000 check to Bayshore Elementary School officials.

Sweetbay presented the check as part of a storewide school fundraising program. Bayshore Elementary was among the top four schools to raise the most funds during the program.

Bayshore Elementary receives this award as the result of a two-month, storewide Sweetbay fundraising initiative in partnership with the Florida Dairy Council. From September through November, Sweetbay invited local schools to purchase select products where a portion of each sale was donated to the designated school for the purchase and support of health and wellness items including field trips and sports equipment. In total, Sweetbay donated more than $100,000 to 825 participating schools.
