ECHO annual Farm Day March 19
Farm Day Event at ECHO Invites You to Taste, Experience and Explore
ECHO (Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization) hosts its annual Farm Day on March 19, 2011 from 9am to 3pm.
Spend the day at the 50-acre Global Farm and tour the 300+ variety seed bank. Some of the activities offered are leaf printing, bamboo, container gardening workshops, and hands-on grafting demonstrations. Sample fresh squeezed orange juice, try making fresh peanut butter and enjoy the unique taste of Florida sugar cane juice.
Learn how ECHO is meeting the challenge to reduce hunger and improve the lives of the poor worldwide.
Tickets are on sale now for the 20th annual ECHO Farm Day at the ECHO bookstore and gift shop at 17391 Durrance Road in North Fort Myers. The tickets are $5.00 in advance for adults and $7.00 on the day of the event. Children under the age of 10 enjoy free admission.
