Photos Released Of Thieving Troop Who Stole Thousands From Walmart

A troop of six thieves pulled off a well orchestrated maneuver last Friday, Feb. 25th, in which they stole more than $8,000 worth of iPads from a Wal Mart store in south Fort Myers. However, surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects on video, and now Crime Stoppers is asking the public to help identify the five men, and one woman,

involved in the heist.

Shortly before 6 a.m. on Feb. 25th, a silver mini-van with five black males and one black

female pulled into the parking lot at the Wal Mart, located at 14821 Ben C. Pratt Parkway

in Fort Myers. At that time, all six individuals went into the store at different intervals,

approximately one to two minutes apart from each other. Once inside, one black male

opened a locked case containing the iPads. Once the case was opened, he moved along

and another male and female approached with a shopping cart and removed the property,

placing 13 iPads into the cart, while another male kept watch for store personnel. The

female then rolled the cart down a nearby aisle, where all five male suspects approached

her and started to stuff the iPads inside their clothing. Once all the devices were hidden,

all six suspects left the store undetected. Less than 15 minutes after initially pulling into the

parking lot, the suspects left the area, with $8,027 worth of stolen iPads in tow.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects profiled in the attached photos is

asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous

and will be eligible for up to $1,000 in cash rewards. Tips may also be made online at

www.swflcrimestoppers.org or via the free TipSubmit app on any iPhone.

Note: there are several photos of the suspects attached to this release – as they walked

into the store, starting at 5:55 a.m., and as they exited at 6:05 a.m. Crime Stoppers does

not have any video surveillance available at this time – only still photos.
