Waterway Estates Wastewater Treatment Plant update
Below is an update from the Utilities Department on Waterway Estates Wastewater Treatment Plant from Lee County’s Doug Meurer and Commissioner Tammy Hall.
“We are currently still waiting for a contract to be executed for the actual pipeline construction,” said Meurer. “In the interim, we have acquired the services of a firm to help with public information. We will soon be sending out fliers to announce the job and impacts, setting up a dedicated web site to track progress, setting up a dedicated phone line for residents to call for information and arranging for a series of town hall meetings to discuss the project. I will make sure you are aware of the dates when this program will begin.”
“Our office will continue to update you as well get information,” said Carmen Salomé, Executive Assistant to Lee County Board of Commissioners.
