Town Hall Meeting on new surface water management plan update
Commissioner Tammy Hall and the Lee County Division of Natural Resources will conduct a town hall meeting to update the North Fort Myers Surface Water Management Plan on Monday April 25, 2011 from 6 to 7:30 pm. The meeting will be held at Community of Christ Church, 368 Herron Road, in North Fort Myers.
The meeting will update the public about the study findings and discuss the road map to implement the study recommendations. The project focus area includes North Fort Myers from US 41 east to SR 31; and from the Lee/Charlotte County boundary south to the Caloosahatchee River.
The meeting will be conducted in two parts. From 6 to 6:30 pm county staff will present a power point presentation of the work completed. There will be opportunity for Q&A from the public after that presentation.
