Death Investigation in North Fort Myers
On Thursday, May 26, 2011 at approximately 9:31 a.m. the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 108 Torch Lane, North Fort Myers to conduct a well-being check. A citizen had called stating they believed they had seen a deceased person in the residence along with another person who was threatening to harm themselves.
Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with a person in the home via telephone. That individual came out of the home. Deputies then conducted a safety sweep at which time they discovered a deceased person inside.
The investigation is ongoing. There are no further details at this time.
