Shell Factory Christmas in July offers Christmas lovers traditions and sales prices
The extremely popular Christmas in July Sale will soon be under way — July 1.
Shell Factory’s Pamela Cronin. “And a few things sprinkled in will be 70 percent off.”
You can see Mrs. Claus again this year, and the holiday train.
“The train is very popular,” said Rita Glosson, aka Mrs. Claus. A train runs along the tracks high above the store.
“Children love the train,” she said.
“I love to see the look on their faces when they come in here,” she added.
“We actually have customers that confess to be Christmas addicts,” said Cronin. “They love walking into the Christmas shop. You notice the white lights that give you the feeling of snow and the Christmas spirit and we always have Christmas music playing.”
Some of the big attraction are the “Upside Down Tree” and all the tropical and hand blown ornaments. New this year is a John Deere tree. Fully donned trees themselves — from traditional to pink and purple — are available for sale. There is also collectable Station 56 items.
“Elves were working for a month to get everything ready,” Cronin said.
One reason the annual event is so popular is budgeting. “Customers can experience early purchase discounts, which helps them budget for the holiday and avoid big credit card bills in January.”
