Two charged with lewd behavior
A woman and a Cape Coral man were reportedly caught by some children participating in a sex act while in a vehicle parked outside of a home.
Shane Eugene Leonard, 41, of 1214 N.E. Third Ave., and Lisa Marie Mcmillin, 24, of 1225 Laurel Lane, North Fort Myers, were each arrested and charged Wednesday with one count of lewd lascivious behavior victim less than 16.
As of Thursday, both had been released from the county jail on $5,000.
According to the arrest reports, a woman reported that her daughter and some children witnessed an act outside of a home in North Fort Myers. The woman’s daughter said the children had been outside playing, but came in.
They told her that two people inside of a truck were “doing the nasty,” the reports state. The daughter went outside and saw a truck parked in front of a residence. Inside the truck, a woman was allegedly performing a sex act on a man.
The daughter called her mother and told her what happened.
“The allegations are not true, that’s all I can say,” Mcmillin said Thursday.
She explained that she was drying her hair out in the air vent and nothing else was going on. She said she did not have her house keys — her finance did — and she was waiting to get into her residence in her friend’s truck.
Leonard could be reached for comment Thursday.
As the mother was pulling up to her home, her daughter pointed out the truck, which was leaving. The report states that the mother wrote down the license plate, then followed to a nearby grocery store.
During an interview with detectives, Mcmillin adamantly denied the allegations and refused to comment. any further. Leonard was also questioned by police.
Both were taken into custody and transferred to the Lee County Jail. Leonard and Mcmillin each have a court date scheduled for July 11.
