Armed Robbery At KFC
On July 7, 2011 at 10:10 pm, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call in reference to an armed robbery at KFC, located at 12290 South Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers. Eyewitnesses say two men, dressed in black and wearing ski masks, stormed into the business and demanded money. Both subjects were armed with guns. The men took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle.
Several customers were in the restaurant at the time of the robbery. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
