All excited for new school year at Littleton Elementary

ANDREA GALABINSKI Fourth grade student Erin Ramey was excited the first day of school at Littleton Elementary, especially about getting to know her classmates better this year.

Despite a stormy start on their first day of school, students, staff and the administration of Dr. Carrie D. Robinson Littleton Elementary School are looking forward to a great school year. Classes started Monday, Aug. 8.

“Last year, we made significant gains through keeping focused on our school improvement goals and implementing skill specific instructional techniques. We plan to continue this during the 2011-2012 school year,” said Assistant Principal Robert Cooper. “We have a very talented staff, fantastic students, supportive families, and strong business partners.

“Together, we will ‘Make it Happen’ for our students. It is going to be an excellent year.” Those words are both the sentiments of he and Principal Monica Broughton, he said.

Littleton Elementary is at 700 Hutto Rd. in North Fort Myers.
