Florida Tarpons Announce Victor Hall as Assistant Coach

2 min read

The Florida Tarpons, Southwest Florida’s arena football team, has named Victor Hall to the coaching staff.

Hall’s experience in athletics started in 1987 with playing college ball at Auburn University in Alabama, as a tight end. He went on to play the same position for the Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts. In the mid to late 90’s, Hall played for the Orlando Predators, LA Avengers, and Florida Firecats, where he led his teams in sacks and blocked kicks.

Hall moved into coaching in 2003 where he assisted the former Florida Firecats with winning 3 division championships. Locally he was the head coach for Florida Christian Institute where he lead the football program to regional championships.

Currently Hall is the CEO of New Start Vision Inc., a non-profit organization that will serve middle to high school youths that are in need of long-term shelter, counseling and educational resources.

“Victor brings over 23 years of football leadership, coaching, and playing to the Tarpons, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our team”, says Head Coach Michael Taylor.

The Tarpons are members of the Ultimate Indoor Football League, and have a three-year lease with Germain Arena. They released their schedule for the 2012 season on Thursday and will play their first-ever game on March 9 at Germain Arena. For more information, go to FloridaTarpons.com
