Neighborhood Meeting and salute to Terry Pye
The North Fort Myers Civic Association will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, Oct. 24.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Community of Christ Church, 368 Herron Rd.
Besides speakers Commissioner Tammy Hall and North District Sheriff Captain Richard Dobson, a tribute will be held for retiring North Fort Myers Fire Chief Terry Pye. He will be joined by new chief Chris Nobel and Bayshore Fire Chief Larry Nisbet.
They will all be available for a brief question and answer period for the public.
Retiring Chief Pye will be given an appreciation award from Gregg Makepeace, the president of the Civic Association, on behalf of the organization.
The public is encouraged to attend.
