Cape Coral man dies on communication tower
Update: Man Dies While Working on Communications Tower
On December 26, 2011 just before 5 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to a man who appeared to be stuck approximately 600′ above ground on a communications tower in the area of Channel 30 Drive and Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs. Collier County Aviation responded to assist. It was determined the man was deceased. Efforts then went underway to bring him down from the tower.
The worker has been identified as Nick Rouskey (DOB 03/15/1950) of Cape Coral. His body has been transported to the medical examiner’s office where an autopsy will be conducted to determine his cause of death.
