Edison Festival of Light Honorary Grand Marshal Voting Open Now
The Edison Festival of Light is proud to provide Southwest Florida with the opportunity to vote for deserving residents to receive recognition for all the good they do in the community by riding in the Edison Festival of Light parades as Honorary Grand Marshal. “We were impressed with the heartfelt nominations this year. It was a difficult task to narrow the list to just three,” said Festival President, Karen Ryan. Finalists are presented for “My Choice” voting at info@edisonfestival.org .
Nominees are local residents who:
Give back to our community on a regular basis
Deserve credit for their good deeds but don’t always receive it
Are an inspiration toward making our community a better place to live
Deadline for voting is January 20, 2012.

The Honorary Grand Marshal will be announced at the Edison Festival of Light Mutt Strutt at Sam Galloway Ford on February 5 at noon. As a tribute to their commitment to the community, the winner will earn a seat as the Honorary “My Choice” Grand Marshal for the Edison Festival of Light Junior Parade on February 12, and the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade on February 18. The winner will also receive two VIP passes to the Grand Parade.
