Goodwill welcomes three new members to Board of Directors

North Fort Myers-based Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. has announced that John F. Gamba, Jr., Nirupa Netram, and Joseph Spielman have joined the organization s volunteer Board of Directors.

John F. Gamba, Jr. is the founder of JJ Enterprises, LLC, and a director of the Gamba Family Foundation. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a successful entrepreneur, Gamba has served as a graduation speaker for Goodwill s SWFL MicroEnterprise project several times. In his free time, Gamba is also a competitive triathlete, and also serves on the AFCAAM board of directors.

Nirupa Netram is a Senior Trial Court Staff Attorney with the 20th Judicial Circuit in Punta Gorda. She earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to practice in 1998. Netram is a member of the Calusa American Inn of Court, the Florida Trial Court Staff Attorneys Association, and the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers. She also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties.

Joseph Spielman retired from General Motors as vice president and general manager of vehicle manufacturing in 2007. He is a distinguished alumni of Kettering University (Formerly General Motors Institute) in Flint, Mich. Spielman is a North Fort Myers resident and a 2001 Inductee of the National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame.

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. helps people with disabilities and other disadvantages overcome their barriers to employment and independence. In 2011, Goodwill provided vocational and social services to 23,000 Southwest Floridians in Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties, through programs and services such as Goodwill Job-Link centers, the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy charter school, and affordable housing for people with disabilities.
