Organizer Danny Sinnott is excited about this year’s senior-friendly Branson, Biloxi and Graceland Trip.

For the last nine years, North Fort Myers resident Danny Sinnott has booked senior-friendly tours to the country music capitals of the country. He takes North Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Punta Gorda locals to see the lights, stars and shows.

His next trip, scheduled for May 1 through 9, will include Branson, Biloxi and Graceland.

“Unlike big towns that have big businesses behind them, Branson is filled with family owned and run businesses,” he said. “Even though the shows, the theaters, the restaurants and hotels we are staying at were not touched by the recent tornado, the money coming into the town will help the town rebuild.”

They are all family up there, he said, and all of his tours are all about family.

Sinnott started organizing these types of tours seriously years ago to take his parents to the Branson hot spot.

“The whole purpose of the trip was to get to be with others, enjoy the senior-friendly places and to get seniors more active,” he said.

It is important to him to make the trips super senior friendly.

“Everyone is like my mom and my dad, the first to sign up for the trips. I take my cues from my parents. What they need is what others in their neighborhood need. That’s to get away, enjoy themselves and forget about their problems.”

When Sinnott heard about the devastating tornado, he immediately called contacts and new friends he has made from booking the tours.

“After talking to Randy Plummer, a singer and musician from one of Branson’s first shows, he moved us up to VIP seating at one sold-out show we will be attending.

“We depart from North Fort Myers on own deluxe motor coach from Allstar Charters out of Cape Coral for Biloxi. This is the same company I have always used whenever I put together a trip. They are always on time and the service is great. When we arrive we will be staying at The Palace Casino Resort.”

They will see 10 shows, including The Yakov Smirnoff Show, the funniest Russian comedian in Branson, he said. “He will make you laugh until you cry. There will also be The Duttons-as seen on ‘America’s Got Talent’ – who play all of your favorites, the John Denver tribute, said to be the best around.

“There will also be The Plummer Family Reunion with that special reserved seating courtesy of Randy Plummer himself, the New Shanghai Circus, Chinese acrobats doing unbelievable stunts, a live radio broadcast, The Comedy Jamboree and The Grand Jubilee, shows you will be talking about for a long time. There is also Legends in Concert with Elvis, the Blues Brothers, and many more.

“In Biloxi, we will stay in a five-star resort, The Palace Casino,” he said.

“In Memphis, we will have a private Memphis barbecue buffet, just for us. Then in the morning we go to Graceland for the Platinum Tour.”

The cost is $1,450 per person based on double occupancy, for everything, he said. That includes travel, rooms, meals and shows.
