Shell Factory to host health fair
On Tuesday, April 24, the second annual Spring Health Fair will take place at the Shell Factory & Nature Park in North Fort Myers. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Several major health and wellness partners will support the event.
“The Shell Factory is proud to sponsor a second annual health fair which will provide area residents with free health screenings and more,” said Shell Factory owner Tom Cronin Sr. “This is another example of the Shell Factory outreach philosophy and an opportunity to give back to our customers and fellow neighbors.”
“In today’s society health is not always a top priority,” said Shell Factory’s Samantha Quinn in a prepared statement. “With the economy many people are taking on the tasks of more than one role at work and in life, which leaves very little time to taking care of us. That is why the Shell Factory & Nature Park is striving to get the word out for better health, safety, and knowledge to the people of Southwest Florida.”
There is no admission or fees for this event; the Mobile mammogram service is a discounted service for $150.
Quinn will be manning the registration table.
“It is a free event that will help bring awareness to the community about all health related.
“You can register all day for the event,” she said.
To add some fun, stickers will be given at each site with a registration card, and those visiting all the providers will be entered in a grand prize dinner drawing for two to Capt’n Fishbones Restaurant.
The current list of providers an health care vendors who plan to attend include:
Florida Blood Mobile
