Golisano Children’s Hospital works with partners to aid community members impacted by Hurricane Ian

Golisano Children’s Hospital and Safe Kids Southwest Florida have partnered with Healthy Start and Iona-McGregor Fire District to provide safety supplies to families impacted by Hurricane Ian. The much-needed items are being distributed to community members in an effort to help keep kids safe as hurricane clean-up and recovery continues.
Donations include car seats, Pack ‘n Plays and other play yards, carbon monoxide detectors, door alarms, diapers and more.
Items can be picked up in the parking lot in front of Golisano Children’s Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Safe Kids Southwest Florida, led by Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, is comprised of organizations and concerned citizens mobilized to fight the No. 1 killer of children, unintentional injuries. Safe Kids Southwest Florida is dedicated to raising awareness among the general public and policy makers through education, direct intervention programs and public policy initiatives.
Safe Kids Southwest Florida serves Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades area families and communities with education and information that protects the younger population.
