Storm Smart to host hurricane benefit

Storm Smart will host a celebration, benefit concert and first responder salute and a much-welcomed farewell to the 2022 hurricane season on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the new Caloosa Sound Amphitheater on 2101 Edwards Drive in downtown Fort Myers.
The benefit’s purpose is to provide a thank-you to the first responders and other rescue heroes who stood strong during and after the devastation delivered by Hurricane Ian, raise money for hurricane relief efforts and come together after this unprecedented hurricane season.
This day of celebration will feature the music of local favorites Kat Epple, the Rosada Project, and Deb & The Dynamics.
There will be a ceremonial burning of the hurricane flags at 8 p.m. All first responders and rescue heroes will be admitted free, plus 250 VIP tickets will be distributed to deserving individuals.
General admission tickets are $20 at the gate and $15 in advance (until Nov. 30, by going to EndOfHurricaneSeason.com). There will be lawn seating and participants are asked to bring their own blankets and chairs. A cash bar will be available. No coolers are allowed.
Patron VIP tickets (dinner and two drinks) are $100 at the gate and $90 in advance (until Nov. 30, EndOfHurricaneSeason.com).
The proceeds of the benefit will go to the Harry Chapin Food Bank, Lee County Homeless Coalition, WHALE Waves of Change and WOLF Humanitarian Relief Missions.
