Cape man guilty of manslaughter in 2020 North Fort Myers stabbing death

Rudolph Jermaine Askew Jr., of Cape Coral, was found guilty of Manslaughter with a Weapon, following a three-day trial in Lee County.

According to the State Attorney’s Office, Askew stabbed a man to death at a residence in North Fort Myers in October 2020.

Askew’s sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 2.
