Police searching for burglary suspects
Fort Myers police are searching for two men who are suspected of stealing a purse from a woman at a gas station.
The victim was pumping gas on the driver’s side of her truck when two men in a black Lexus pulled up next to her vehicle parked at the Gas-N-Snack at 2612 Edison Avenue.
The two men then worked together to steal the woman’s purse, officials said. One of them engaged her in conversation while the other suspect opened her passenger-side door and grabbed her purse. A surveillance photo shows one of the men carrying the victim’s purse as he leaves the store., officials added.
