Fort Myers police investigating homicide

Fort Myers police are looking for the gunman in a drive-by shooting that left a Fort Myers man dead early Sunday morning.
Officers responding to the shooting at 2509 Henderson Ave. at 2:01 a.m. found Joshua Lamont Jones, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound. Jones was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital where he died.
Witnesses say someone fired shots into the home and then fled in a vehicle.
Police set up a perimeter with the assistance of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and spent the night processing the crime scene, canvassing the area and conducting interviews.
