Hours to change at LCSO Echo District office
This Sunday, June 27, new hours for the public will be implemented for the Echo District Office of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. This is the fifth and final district office to be affected by the change of hours first instituted a month ago.
The office hours have changed to Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the other four offices. The Echo District Office is located in the Pinebrook Plaza at 12995 S. Cleveland Ave., Suite 171, Fort Myers.
After hours and on weekends, citizens have access to an intercom phone connection to the Sheriff’s Office call takers at the dispatch center, should they need a deputy to meet them at any of the five locations. The change does not impact road patrol response or services, which are already coordinated through 9-1-1 dispatch at the headquarters facility. Deputies will continue to operate and utilize the district office and provide the same service as in the past.
The locations of the other four offices already operating with the new hours are Alpha District Office, 121 Pondella Road, North Fort Myers; Bravo District Office, 1301 Homestead Road, Lehigh Acres; Charlie District Office, 15650 Pine Ridge Road, Fort Myers; and Delta District Office, 18951 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 565, Bonita Springs.
The Bonita Springs Community Policing substation at 10520 Reynolds St. in Bonita Springs remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
