Three times the charm for Patriot Elementary Talent Show

2 min read

Cape Coral Patriot Elementary ended the school year with a talent show that delighted crowds not once or twice, but three times to wrap up the school year.
On Friday, June 11, the kids there performed for parents and friends, and on the last day of school, did two encore performances for the entire student body.
Cape Principal and North Fort Myers resident Carol Bromby was the emcee, and students, teachers and administrators all got into the act.
Student acts included Lindsay Klein with “Do You Believe;” Austin Avery and Caleb Worst in the skit “Trashing the Camp Site;” Jordan Wimbish with “Reflection” from “Mulan;” Marlee Hope Rhea doing a dance routine to Hannah Montana’s “Best of Both Worlds’ and Mary Ann Connolly in her stellar “Hey Mickey” rendition and more.
There was also a great “Jump’ routine from students Jennifer Bolanos, Taliah Maguda, Ginette Manzo, Zachary Strait, Marc Valcin and Kassandra Zabula.
An ensemble class of students performed “You’ve Got A Friend” from
“Toy Story.” They included Sabrina Almodrovar, Kaitlyn Blakaslee, Leslie Escobedo, Patricia Foley, Kalyse Hill, Graycie Huston, Jordyn Jones, Cheyenne Nelepovitz, Sabrina Petit-Homme, Sorina Petit-Homme, Savannah Kelly, Lindsey Slaughter, Isabella Thoennes and Alix-Michelle Zabala.
And Elton John (aka Michael Padula) and staff performed “Can You
Feel The Love Tonight?” from “The Lion King.”
Teachers and administrators included Laura Osgood, John Beebe,
Annette Connolly, Linda Grant, Michelina Edwatds, Rebecca Walter, Orlando Herrera, Michael Padula and Patricia Otto.
Bromby gave awards to all participants, and said she was looking forward to more talent from her school next year.
