1 min read

Charlotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes detectives continue their investigation into the deaths of two people found Monday afternoon in a Port Charlotte home after a friend called CCSO for a well being check on a 90 year old woman and her 58 year old son.
MCU detectives say the two bodies were found in a car in the two-car garage at the home, 20095 Ventura Ave., Port Charlotte, according to a prepared statement released Tuesday.
Due to the decomposition of the two bodies, detectives still do not have a positive identification on either and are awaiting the Medical Examiner’s autopsy report. The bodies may have been there nearly a week. Detectives said at this time no foul play is expected. Names are being withheld pending positive identification and notification of family.
