Lee County will receive $1.2 million over the next eight years as parting of a stadium naming deal with JetBlue Airways.
The new Red Sox stadium scheduled to open in 2012 will the named JetBlue Park, according to an announcement made late Tuesday.
JetBlue, which has been the official airline of the Major League ball team for a number of years, will pay Lee County $150,000 per year for eight years, officials said. The money will go toward refurbishment of the new Spring Training facility.
