Chamber to present 4th Annual Speed Politics

The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral will present its 4th Annual Speed Politics event today, April 30, at the Cape Coral Institute of Technology, at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd., N., in Cape Coral. This free community event will begin at 5:30 pm.

Speed Politics brings the community together with its elected officials and local leaders. Each official will be assigned a classroom to serve as their headquarters throughout the event. The constituents will be divided into groups that will participate in a series of Q&A sessions as they rotate rooms throughout the evening.

Participants include Cape Coral Mayor Marnie Sawicki; Cape Coral Councilpersons Jim Burch, John Carioscia, Lenny Nesta, Rana Erbrick, Richard Leon, Rick Williams and Derrick L. Donnell; Lee County Commissioners John Manning, Larry Kiker, Cecil Pendergrass, Brian Hamman and Frank Mann; Lee County Tax Collector Larry Hart; Lee County Clerk of Courts Linda Doggett; and LCEC CFO Denise Vidal.

Event sponsors include the Fort Myers News-Press, Lamar Advertising, High Fidelity Studios, Dixie Roadhouse, LAI Design Associates, Becker & Poliakoff PA, LCEC, HONC Marine Construction and BJM Consulting.
