College Night 2014 to be held Tuesday at Harborside Event center
It’s never too early for students to start gathering information on what they want to do after they graduate from high school. Some will be going on to college, while others may be looking for specialized training to enter the world of work. Regardless which path students may take, they will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from various institutions of learning, thanks to College Night 2014.
College Night 2014, hosted by Lee County Public Schools and the city of Fort Myers, is being held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Harborside Event Center, 1375 Monroe St., Fort Myers.
A grant through the city of Fort Myers has helped defer the cost for the use of the Harborside Event Center.
College Night will feature over 100 representatives from different colleges, universities, art and culinary institutes as well as military academies.
This event is free and open to the public; however, it is designed for 11th and 12th grade students.
