Cape man accused of drug trafficking
A Cape Coral man faces multiple drug-related charges after SWAT and narcotics officers serving a search warrant say they found heroin, cocaine, a gun and cash at his home Wednesday.
Jamesse Lundi, 30, of 1223 N.E.15th Lane was charged with trafficking heroin, possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1000 ft of a specified area, possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 ft of a specified area, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, Cape Coral Police said in a prepared statement released Thursday.
The Cape Coral Police Department Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the Street Crimes Unit, and the CCPD SWAT team served the search warrant at 5;30 p.m., officials said, adding the warrant was the culmination of an ongoing narcotics investigation Lundi.
The CCPD SWAT Team located Jamesse Lundi in the driveway and detained him as well as other individuals located inside of the residence. After the residence was cleared by the SWAT team and deemed safe, Lundi was placed inside of a CCPD police vehicle and detectives conducted the search the residence, along with other members of the V.I.N. Unit.
A search of the duplex revealed the following, police said:
20.8 grams of heroin
1.7 grams of cocaine
11.2 grams of marijuana
Revolver
Various different types of bullets
Digital Scale
Plastic baggies
$11,505 in U.S. currency
Shotgun
0.5 grams of Alprazolam
Shotgun Shells
Lundi was transported to the Cape Coral Police Department for booking.
