1 min read

The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife will hold its biennial election of officers during the Tuesday, April 14, monthly meeting. The 7 p.m. meeting is at the Rotary Park Environmental Center, 5505 Rose Garden Road, in Cape Coral. All members with dues paid are eligible to vote.

The business meeting will include a discussion of some of the organization’s major past and on-going accomplishments and programs as well as activities members would like to see considered in the future. Members, year-round residents and visitors, are encouraged to attend and share their ideas.

The public is always welcome to attend to learn more about the organization and to volunteer in a variety of ways including at the popular Tom Allen Butterfly House and helping to maintain burrowing owl habitats. Meet new friends and experience the satisfaction of participating with other volunteers to preserve, enhance, and protect Cape Coral’s unique and valuable environment and wildlife. Free Butterfly House tours are usually scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Please check the website for details: www.ccfriendsofwildlife.org
