Lee County launches redesigned, user-friendly website

1 min read

Lee County has launched a redesigned website that combines a fresh look with user-friendly navigation to neatly organize more than 7,000 webpages and documents.

The new site, designed in partnership with award-winning government website company Vision Internet, is more adaptable for users with disabilities. It also automatically adjusts to fit any mobile device’s screen for ease of use on the go.

New features include an improved search with advanced filtering options; a countywide events calendar with customizable view; a Permit Center to quickly find which event or project permit is needed; and feedback buttons to easily submit website comments.

The mission of Lee County’s website is to provide the public with accurate, ADA-compliant information about the Lee County Board of County Commissioners and its underlying departments, using plain language and user-friendly navigation to improve communication and transparency; increase user satisfaction; and simplify the completion of self-service tasks.

A brief introductory video and FAQ on the homepage will help users to make the most of the new website’s features. The site address remains the same: www.leegov.com.
