Sheriff’s Office releases name of homicide victim found in Lehigh
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man found dead Wednesday late afternoon at Banning Street and Acton Avenue in Lehigh Acres.
The body has been identified as David M. Rice, 30, of North Fort Myers.
Due to the nature of the case, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit has opened a homicide investigation, officials said.
