City hosting ‘Open House’ on bike lane proposal for Cape Coral Parkway
The city of Cape Coral will host an “Open House” today, Aug. 12, to discuss a proposal to create bike lanes on Cape Coral Parkway.
The proposal will reduce Cape Coral Parkway from four lanes to two lanes starting at Agualinda Boulevard and continuing westward to the end of the parkway.
The meeting will be at the Cape Coral Library off Mohawk Parkway from 57 p.m. The library address is 921 SW 39th Terrace.
The proposal will add 5-foot bicycle lanes on both the north and south sides of Cape Coral Parkway.
City staff will have exhibits of the plan available for viewing and will answer any questions from residents.
