Santa Claus is coming to … the Shell Factory

2 min read

Those good little boys and girls had better get their Christmas lists in order pretty quickly. Afterall, Santa Claus is coming to his Southern headquarters to hear what they want to see under the tree that morning.

The Shell Factory & Nature Park will have Jolly Old St. Nick as a regular visitor throughout the holiday season, where children will get to tell him what they want, sit on his lap and take a picture or two with him.

Rick Tupper, CFO and marketing director at the Shell Factory, said the event has always been very popular with the kids while the adults tend to look around and buy some holiday merchandise.

“We have a great Santa this year and he’s always around the property, though he will mostly be at the Holiday House,” Tupper said. “We had him at the Nature Park last year, but this year we’ll try to get him on the zip line.”

Santa will also be walking the stores and making fudge and ice cream during his visit.

“Hundreds of kids come to this event. It’s free to everybody and the Holiday House is so full of stuff, so it’s great,” Tupper said. “There are great ornaments and gifts for the whole family.”

Santa Claus will be in town at the Shell Factory Holiday House workshop on Nov. 25, 28 and 29 and Dec. 4, 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Santa will also be in his workshop on Dec. 11 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Dec. 19, 20, and 23 from 10 a.m. – noon for those with last-minute requests.

The Shell Factory Holiday House is the largest in Southwest Florida and has great holiday-themed gifts, trees and collectibles.

“All you have to do is say Santa and the kids will come,” Tupper said.
