Superintendent to address student assessments
Parents and community members are invited to join Superintendent Dr. Greg Adkins this Thursday evening (Jan. 21) at South Fort Myers High School to discuss Florida Standards and student assessment. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and provide an opportunity for audience input.
Superintendent Adkins will discuss shortcomings of the current Florida standards and his vision to improve learning standards for Lee County Students. Assistant Superinten-dent Soretta Ralph will provide a briefing on the current status and future plans of student progress monitoring and assessment of Lee County students.
Parents interested in learning more about what their child is learning and how their child’s learning gains are monitored are encouraged to participate in this conversation.
