Cape man fatally injured in rollover crash on I-75
A Cape Coral man died on Wednesday after he was ejected from a vehicle in which he was riding.
Juvencio Juvenal Galue, 56, sustained fatal injuries on Interstate 75, according to officials.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that Andres Juvenal Galue, 23, also of the Cape, was driving a Ford Crown Victoria westbound on I-75 in the inside lane. At 6 p.m., the vehicle sustained a right rear tire tread separation in the vicinity of Mile Marker 77, causing Andres Juvenal Galue to lose control.
The vehicle swerved left and began to rotate counterclockwise. As the Ford rotated, it traveled into the median where it overturned, according to the FHP. Juvencio Juvenal Galue was ejected from the car.
The Ford came to a final rest on its roof in the median of I-75.
Juvencio Juvenal Galue was pronounced dead due to the injuries he sustained, the FHP reported.
Andres Juvenal Galue was transported to NCH Downtown with minor injuries.
His condition was unknown as of Thursday.
