Easter Bunny Toy Run set for March 26

2 min read

The Southwest Fl. Chapter of Harley Owners Group, Ft. Myers, would like to invite all motorcyclists to participate in the 13th annual Easter Bunny Toy Run to be held on Saturday, March 26th; kickstands up at 11 a.m. sharp.

The two-day event starts on Friday, March 25, with a Bunny Bike Night at Six Bends Harley Davidson from 6 9 p.m. at which time riders are encouraged to preregister to avoid the long lines on ride day. Festivities will include live entertainment, prizes, food, vendors, burn out pit and more.

The actual police-escorted ride, led by the Easter Bunny Himself, will depart Six Bends at 11 a.m. sharp, Saturday, March 26, and head to the Golisano Children’s hospital at Health Park. Refreshments will be on hand prior to the run for all participants. After the ride participants are invited back to Six Bends for a Jason’s Deli lunch, beverages, ice cream, more live entertainment, prizes and more. All this is included in the registration fee of $10 per rider, and $5 per passenger plus a new & unwrapped toy(s), game or craft item (no stuffed animals).

The goal of this event is to overflow the “Treasure Chest” with toys, games and craft items to resupply the many playrooms throughout the hospital, provide gifts for patients during birthday and holiday stays, or give that little ray of sunshine to a child who has had a rough day.

So, pack up your toys and ride to Health Park, then park your bikes and personally deposit your toys in the giant toy chest located in the hospital atrium. Mingle with the kids, their families & staff members before returning to Six Bends for more fun.

Donations from those who cannot ride in the procession may be dropped off at Six Bends prior to the event.
