A Cape Coral man has been released from the hospital following a recent roll-over crash.

As of Tuesday, Sean Patrick Farley, 32, of 129 N.W. 12th Lane, has been discharged from Lee Memorial Hospital, where he was taken on June 4 after the accident on Skyline Boulevard, according to officials.

Cape police reported that Farley was driving a Toyota Tacoma south on Skyline at about 3:39 p.m. As the truck approached Southwest 18th Street, it drifted into the left turn lane. As the vehicle reached the end of the left turn lane, Farley swerved back into the inside southbound lane of Skyline.

Due to Farley oversteering, the truck began to twist and crossed into the center median. According to police, the left front bumper collided into a tree in the center median, causing the vehicle to rotate. The truck skidded sideways, south across the center median and entered the northbound lanes of Skyline.

Police reported that the vehicle then rolled to the right, one complete roll, before coming to a rest near the northbound lanes. When the truck rolled, Farley was ejected through the open driver’s window.

Farley sustained life-threatening injuries and was trauma-alerted to the hospital.

According to police, he was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.244 at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
