ALDI announces three hiring events
ALDI will hold three hiring events this week and next in advance of the opening of its Cape Coral store.
The grocery retailer which operates more than 1,600 US stores in 35 states, will hold local hiring events on:
o Friday, July 7, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites, 619 S.E. 47th Terrace, Cape Coral
o Saturday, July 8, 6 a.m. noon at Courtyard Cape Coral/ Fort Myers 4455 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers
o Saturday, July 15, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites, 619 S.E. 47th Terrace, Cape Coral
Aldi offers employees compensation that is well above Florida minimum wage
Aldi also offers full health insurance, dental coverage and 401K for staff working at least 25 hours a week
Applicants can just apply in-person at the event no need to apply beforehand.
Positions include:
Store Associate – $11.50 per hour
Shift Manager – $16 per hour
Manager Trainee – $59,000 per year ($24 per hour averaging 45 hours per week), with an opportunity to earn $80,000 to $90,000 per year as a Store Manager
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older to apply
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday – Sunday
Retail experience preferred
Management experience preferred for manager trainees
Drug screening and background check
Ability to lift 45 pounds
