CCPD charges Cape Coral Parks & Recreation director with DUI
Cape Coral’s Parks & Recreation Director Stephen Pohlman was arrested by Cape Coral Police Sunday on multiple driving under the influence charges.
Pohlman was charged with DUI-unlawful blood alcohol (.15 or higher or with person under 18 first offense); hit and run (leave scene of crash involve damage to property); and DUI and damage property, all misdemeanors.
He has been released on a total bond of $3,500.
“I have been advised of the arrest involving our Parks & Recreation Director Steve Pohlman. I will be gathering all of the details and facts surrounding this incident and determining the appropriate course of action,” said City Manager John Szerlag in a prepared statement.
