2017 Galloway Captiva Tri weekend cancelled
Due to the threat of Hurricane Irma and uncertainty about the storm’s track, the 2017 Galloway Captiva Tri weekend at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva has been cancelled for the safety of athletes, volunteers and public safety personnel.
Details about the cancellation are online at www.captivatri.org. Race proceeds will still go to help Community Cooperative’s Healthy School Pantry Program as they have for the previous six events, and the 2018 Galloway Captiva Tri weekend is scheduled for Sept. 15-16, 2018 weather permitting, of course.
