LCEC outage update
LCEC has released an outage update. As of 5 p.m. Tuesday:
“Line crews made great progress today in most parts of the service territory,” LCEC officials said. “We are working on the main circuits in Immokalee and Everglades City, which had the worst impact, and once those are repaired we will begin to bring customers back in those areas.”
Customers do not need to call about their outage at this point, officials said. LCEC is aware of the areas still without power and 500 crews and hundreds of support people are working long and hard to restore power to everyone quickly and safely.

Immokalee – 12,653; 12653 total customers
Everglades City – 3143; 3143 total customers
Lehigh Acres – 29,151; 29151 total customers
North Fort Myers – 32,897; 50,588 total customers
Cape Coral – 33,441; 82,216 total customers
Pine Island – 5,109; 7,098 total customers
Sanibel – 9,963; 10,891 total customers
Total customers without power: 142,777
