Here are the latest state and federal road closures related to Hurricane Irma:

Update: FDOT crews have been able to reopen SR 31 south of Bermont Road (CR 74) in Charlotte County. Standing water remains on SR 31 south of Bermont Road, so drivers are advised to use caution if they choose to drive on SR 31 between Bermont Road and the Lee County line.

All lanes of SR 31 remain closed north of Bermont Road.

FDOT has provided a Thursday morning update on state and federal road closures in Southwest Florida.

Meanwhile, crews are still working around the clock to assess damage and begin repairs to roadways, signals and signs and clear debris from roadways and drainage, officials said.

Emergency repairs began Wednesday at the SR 70 erosion area in Arcadia and should be completed by the end of the week.

The FDOT has released the most updated list of state and federal road closures in District One. FDOT will continue to update on the status of these roads as they are reopened. FDOT crews are working to get all lanes reopened as quickly as possible, officials said.

Also, FDOT bridge inspectors were able to inspect and clear all I-75, I-4, and barrier island access bridges and no significant issues were found. This includes the Judge Jolly Bridge to Marco Island and the Matanzas Pass Bridge to Fort Myers Beach.

Drawbridges will be begin to be unlocked and return to operation starting today. Bridge inspections will continue today focusing on inland river crossing bridges that may experience flooding as a result of rising water.
