‘Reel in the Sunshine’ fishing expo set for Feb. 8 in Bonita Springs
One of Southwest Florida’s largest annual fishing expos, Reel in the Sunshine, will be held on Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to noon at Sunshine Ace Hardware in Bonita Springs. The free, family-friendly event features local fishing captains sharing expertise through seminars, vendors providing product demos, multiple giveaways and exclusive discounts on a wide range of fishing and lifestyle gear, including fishing apparel, rods, reels, lures, hats, sunglasses and other outdoor accessories.
This year’s keynote speakers include Capt. Rick Murphy of Murphy’s Law Sportfishing and Capt. Chris Broome of Clean Sweep Charters. Participating vendors include AFTCO, Big Green Egg, Bimini Bay, Bull Bay Rods, Captains for Clean Water, Costa, DAIWA, Huk, Maui Jim, Mustad, NLBN, Penn, Quantum, Shimano, St. Croix, Traeger and Weber.
