Anna May Evans
Anna May Evans, 87, of North Fort Myers passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. Mrs. Evans was born Dec. 13, 1922, a daughter of Arthur and Anna Mary Rudy Lilley, now deceased. She was a proud and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and took pride in being the ultimate homemaker. She was a member of Grace Baptist Temple and had resided here for the past 20 years coming from Mt. Laurel, N.J.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Edgar T. Evans of North Fort Myers; sons, Edgar Evans of Lincoln, Del., Robert Evans of Seaford, Del., and Ronald Evans of Naples, Fla.; and daughters, Barbara Herring of Mt. Laurel, N.J., and Anna Collins of North Fort Myers. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Malonivich of Mt. Holly, N.J.
Cryptside services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10:30 a.m. in Tranquility Hall Mausoleum in Coral Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Forrest Devore will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coral Ridge Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider.
