Betty J. Brown
A memorial service for Betty J. Brown, 78, of North Fort Myers was officiated by the Rev. Andrea Bremmer on Sunday, May 9, at 2 p.m.
The service was held at the Reynolds United Methodist Church. Formerly of Monon, IN. She died on April 30, at her home after a long illness. She was born on April 23, 1932 in Layfayette, IN to Howard Northrup and Frances (Harter) Northrup Taylor and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard “Dick” R. Brown, her children, Thomas (Patty) Brown of Cape Coral, FL, Sharon (Ron) Allen of Reynolds, IN, Sheila (Gary) Gilmore of Reynolds, IN and Pamela (Mike) Hoover of Columbia, SC,11 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren, sister Madonna (Lee) Strellner of Columbus, IN and brother, George V. (Connie) Taylor, Jr. of Isle of Capri, FL.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Brown, two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Bradie Benner and two brothers, Leon and Gene Northrup.
