Bette Louise Yeoman

Bette Louise “Bette Boop” Yeoman, 87, of North Fort Myers, died on November 4, at Avow Hospice, Naples. She was born on August 8, 1923 in South Bend, IN, the only child of Harry G. and Ruth I. (Downham) Overholser.
A resident of North Fort Myers for the past 10 years, she previously lived in Cape Coral, FL from 1984 to 2000 moving there from Elkhart, IN. A homemaker, Bette loved her family and was a member of Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church, the Sigma Alpha Sororit, the Lady Elks and served on the Board of Directors for the South Bend Broadway Theatre League.
Wife of the late William D. “Bill” Yeoman who died in July 2008 after 57 years of marriage, she is survived by her children, Deborah (Gene) Kelly of Warsaw,IN, Denise (John) Yeoman McCreary of Tucson, AZ, William Scott Yeoman of Bonita Springs, FL Mark Dudley (Renny) Yeoman of Elkhart, IN and Jennifer Raye (Randal) Lilla of Holmen, WI and her grandchildren, Jason, Abigail, Katy, Connor, Marshall and Krystyn.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday, Nov, 8, at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church, 19251 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent Sigma Alpha Foundation Fund, (supporting Heartspring School for Special Needs Children), C/O Julie Church, 6940 Rolando Knolls Dr., La Mesa, CA 91942.
