Alice L. DeWitt
Alice L. DeWitt, 92, of North Fort Myers died Oct. 31, 2011 at Hope Hospice. She was born on November 19, 1918 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, a child of Jay C. and Estella (Orsborn) Lewis.
A resident of North Fort Myers for more than 30 years, she was a member of the Guiding Light Community Church, 1360 Touchstone Rd, North Fort Myers, FL 33903. Alice’s friends will miss her daily bicycle riding through their neighborhood.
She was predeceased by her husband, George F. DeWitt and brothers, Raymond and Robert Lewis. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Gail E. Ike and Cora Lee DeWitt, one nephew and six nieces.
Burial will be held privately at the Arlington National Cemetery next to her husband.
