Pauline Goad Evans
Pauline Goad Evans, 84, of Fort Myers, formerly of Lakeland, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011. She was born Aug. 14, 1927 to the late Perry and Hattie Murphy Goad in Sycamore, VA and was a member of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, Lakeland.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her loving husband of over 64 years, Pastor Larry Evans of Fort Myers; a daughter, Patricia Burnett and husband Sonny of Fort Myers; a son, Everette Evans and wife Katherine of Tulsa, OK; a sister, Clara Oakes of Danville, VA; a brother, Earl Goad and wife Dorothy Lee of Dry Fork, VA; as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the North Fort Myers Church of the Nazarene, 6781 Bayshore Road, with Pastor Van Garner officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Committal services will immediately follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral.
